Lyophilized means freeze-dried
Lyophilization freezes the peptide and then removes the water content under vacuum. What remains is a dry, stable solid. This form keeps the compound stable during shipping and storage, and it is why we ship without cold packs.
The contents usually appear as a thin white film, a small disc, or a light powder at the bottom or side of the vial. This is the normal presentation, and the full labeled amount is present even when it is difficult to see.
Color differences
- Compounds containing copper, such as GHK-Cu, appear blue.
- 5-Amino-1MQ appears orange.
